In the early morning hours, the Danish Police made an arrest of an individual who allegedly made a bomb threat against Billund airport. This is the second most important airport in the country and has been evacuated as a result of the threat.

The police were alerted to the threat at around 10:30 in the morning and immediately began a thorough search of the airport with investigators, canine units, and bomb squads. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether there is actually a bomb at the site.

As a precautionary measure, all activities at the airport have been suspended and there is currently no timeline for when they will resume. The police have confirmed the arrest of a man but have not provided any further details about him or his motivations for making the threat.
