Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft’s current expansion, Dragonflight, will be coming to an end as the game prepares for the next three expansions known as the Worldsoul Saga. In the meantime, the company has been introducing experimental and unique patches, such as the pirate-themed battle royale called Plunderstorm and the newly announced Remix of the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

The Mists of Pandaria Remix is set to be available on current-day servers with accelerated leveling. Players will need to create new characters to experience the Remix, but Blizzard has completely revamped the loot system with new and powerful effects. With effects like storm creation, lightning transformation, and potent shields, players can now obtain loot from almost every activity on Pandaria.

While players will need to start from scratch with new characters, they will be able to keep all their transmogrification items. Transmogrification allows players to change the appearance of their gear to previous collections, a popular feature among fans. Progress made in Pandaria won’t carry over to The War Within expansions, but collecting cosmetics is a way for players to remember those achievements. Additionally, players can convert loot into Bronze, a new currency for toys, mounts, and cosmetics.

For those who missed out on the original Mists of Pandaria expansion but didn’t have the opportunity to play on Classic servers, this remix offers a chance to explore the beautiful lands of Pandaria and collect fun toys along the way. While there is no official launch date for this Remix yet
