The recent class action lawsuit against the NFL over Sunday Ticket has brought about some initial confusion regarding the amount of the verdict. However, it has been confirmed by the NFL that the total verdict is $4.696 billion, which is tripled to $14.088 billion under antitrust law. Despite the possibility of a judge potentially throwing out or reducing the verdict, for now it stands at $14.088 billion, equaling $440.25 million per team.

To put this massive sum into perspective, this year’s salary cap for each team is only $255.4 million.
