The Patriot Auto Group Night of Scholars and Champions recognized Gentry Turner from Bartlesville High and Cooper Fogle from Caney Valley Ramona as the Athlete of the Year. Both athletes are multi-sport stars who have excelled in various sports and hold impressive rankings in the state in their respective categories.
Turner is a top-5 finisher in 6A cross country and has high expectations for her upcoming track and field state competition. On the other hand, Fogle is known for his success in track and field as well as for leading in tackles for Caney Valley. He secured the pole vault 2A title last year and placed third this spring.
Congratulations to Turner, Fogle, and all the other athletes who have been recognized throughout the season as athlete of the week honorees.
