The EUROSATORY International exhibition, organized by the French Group of Defense and Security Industries (GICAT), attracts participants from all over the world. This year, more than a dozen Armenian companies are present at the exhibition. The Minister of High-tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, welcomed these companies in a special event held jointly with GICAT. According to a press release from the ministry, Hayrapetyan toured the exhibition booths, met with representatives of Armenian and international military-industrial companies, and visited the booths of Armenian companies.
Armenian Minister of Defense, Suren Papikyan, also participated in the opening ceremony of the EUROSATORY exhibition. During the event, he had meetings with French Minister of Armed Forces, Sebastien Lecorne, and other high-ranking officials. Agreements were reached, including one for the acquisition of “Cesar” systems by Armenia. Just two months ago, the Minister of High-tech Industry announced that the Ministry of Defense placed an order worth more than 300 million dollars with 25 companies in the military-industrial complex.
In early June, several domestic military industrial companies took part in tactical exercises, including combat shooting with special purpose forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. These activities showcase the capabilities of Armenian companies in the defense sector and highlight their commitment to innovation and technology in the industry.
