Angels of Assisi, located in Roanoke, Virginia, is a busy organization with an exciting lineup of events coming up. Recently, Director of Development Carol Jesse discussed some of these upcoming events on a segment of 7@Four.
One event that pet owners should mark on their calendars is the Pet Health Fair Mobile Clinic in June. This event will take place at the Berglund Center on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Services at the clinic include a Well Pet Exam for $10, Sick Pet Exams for $20 plus the cost of medication, and various vaccinations such as Rabies, FVRCP, and Parvo/Distemper for $10 each. In addition to these services, nail trims, microchipping, and flea and tick medications will also be available at the clinic.
If you’re interested in adopting a furry friend, Angels of Assisi will be hosting late night adoptions every Friday in June from 6 to 8 p.m. And if you see your favorite pet featured on WDBJ7, they’ll have special adoption fees! Currently available for adoption is Jessica Rabbit, showcased on Angels of Assisi’s website.
