The new Amherst County Community Health Center in Madison Heights is close to completion, with Johnson Health Center announcing that the final touches are being put in place. The groundbreaking ceremony for the site took place in 2023, with the opening date scheduled for early 2024. The CEO of Johnson Health Center has stated that the new health center will create job opportunities for 13 to 20 new employees.
