An Afghan man has been arrested for sexually harassing a 15-year-old girl in Ulm. The second incident occurred when the girl was walking near the Danube at around 12:20 p.m. On this day, the man approached her from behind, threw her to the ground and touched her inappropriately before stealing her cell phone and running away.
A witness intervened, leading to the suspect’s arrest later that afternoon at Ulm train station. Further investigation revealed that the same man had previously assaulted a 16-year-old girl from Ulm on February 16th. In that incident, he dragged her into a garage, tried to kiss her and touched her inappropriately before stealing her cell phone. Despite evidence linking him to both crimes, he was initially released by the public prosecutor’s office.
The immigrant denies any involvement in these incidents but was found with stolen cell phones from both incidents in his possession.
