The Tulsa World is hosting a contest in honor of the best mascot, band, cheer squad, dance team, and fan base. Last year, Jenks swept every category, while the year before, Broken Arrow took home all the awards except for the mascot category, which was won by Rambo from Owasso High School.
To participate in the contest, nominations can be made once per category. The top five nominees in each category will advance to the voting round. The winning school will be notified before the event takes place.
The All-World Awards are sponsored by Bill Knight Automotive and recognize outstanding athletes and coaches in high school sports. The event is scheduled for June 20 at the Cox Business Center.
