The 2024 NFL Draft has come to an end, with a total of 257 players being selected. Now that the draft is over, it’s time to evaluate how each team performed with their picks. Below, we will provide a comprehensive team-by-team analysis of the draft grades for each AFC division.

In the AFC East, the Pittsburgh Steelers received an A+ grade for their draft. Every pick they made seemed to fit the Steelers’ identity, with first-round offensive lineman Troy Fautanu expected to make an immediate impact. The Baltimore Ravens received an A- grade, sticking to their traditional drafting style and improving on both sides of the ball. The Cleveland Browns earned a B- grade, adding depth pieces to their roster. The Cincinnati Bengals also received a B grade, securing their future offensive tackle in Amarius Mims.

Moving on to the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs received a B+ grade for their draft. Adding Xavier Worthy will open up their downfield passing game, while also selecting other talented football players. The Los Angeles Chargers earned a B grade, with Joe Alt transitioning to left tackle and Ladd McConkey providing playmaking ability. The Las Vegas Raiders received a D grade for selecting Brock Bowers and neglecting to address their quarterback situation. The Denver Broncos also earned a D grade for reaching on Bo Nix and not addressing the receiver position until the fourth round.

Overall, there were some standout performances from various teams in the draft, but also some concerning decisions made by others. Each team will now be looking to integrate their new draft picks into their systems and prepare for the upcoming season.
