The San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health Department has recently formed a new partnership with County Libraries to bring awareness galleries to the community. These free-to-attend events are designed to educate locals about mental wellness and substance use, with a specific focus on overdose prevention.

County Behavioral Health Director Star Graber, PhD, expressed excitement about the partnerships, stating, “These partnerships allow us to connect with new community members who may need our support and services.” The galleries are currently located at county libraries in Cambria, Los Osos, and Nipomo, and are available in both English and Spanish.

Individuals seeking more information about behavioral health resources and services are encouraged to visit slobehavioralhealth.org. This initiative aims to raise awareness and provide valuable information to help individuals in the community maintain their mental wellness and prevent substance misuse.
