Four middle school students from North Carolina arrived in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday afternoon to participate in the world’s largest robotics competition. The 8th-grade students from Carnage Magnet Middle School earned their spot in the competition after winning the state robotics championship in February.
Vedhanth, Dhruva, Lashwin, and Sathvik will represent their school and compete against young engineers from 50 different countries at the Vex Robotics World Championship at the Dallas Convention Center. The four-day competition includes challenges such as a teamwork challenge, a robot skills challenge, and a STEM research project.
The team of boys has named themselves ‘A Few Bolt Men’ and are excited to showcase their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics. They are ready to put their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork to the test as they strive to come out on top in this global competition. Good luck to ‘A Few Bolt Men’ as they compete on the world stage at the Vex Robotics World Championship.
