The Chattanooga Police Department has released an update on the shooting incident that occurred at the 900 block of Eastgate Circle. They have stated that the victim, a 27-year-old individual, is currently in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. According to CPD’s Homicide Unit, the shooting was a targeted incident and they are actively investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 423-698-2525.
In a previous report, it was revealed that the victim had entered a business on Eastgate Circle at approximately 10:00am on Friday when one or more suspects began shooting. The victim was quickly transported to the hospital for treatment. Currently, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
