The DoubleTree by Hilton played host to the 2024 Impact and Excellence Awards, where over 50 students, faculty, and staff were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the college community. Among the winners was the Super Science Club, which was awarded Outstanding Club or Organization of the Year. A group of a dozen club members and advisers accepted the prestigious award on stage, including club President Bryant Pepe, a third-year physics and earth science student. Pepe expressed his excitement at winning the award, stating that it felt like all their hard work had paid off.

Pepe emphasized the club’s dedication to providing the best possible experience for its students and community, highlighting the impact they were able to make. Meanwhile, Adventure Society President Ben Surosky was another winner, receiving the award for Outstanding Club or Organization Member of the Year. Surosky, a third-year Spanish student, shared his happiness at winning the award, stating that he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the club. He expressed his satisfaction in seeing how far the club had come under his leadership.
