Kilian Zierer, a native of Munich, Germany, has recently been added to the Texans’ international/exempt list. Zierer began playing football at the age of 16 and quickly gained recognition for his impressive physical attributes – standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 304 pounds, with a wingspan of 83 5/8. This caught the attention of scouts and earned him a college scholarship, where he played at the College of the Canyons.

Despite going undrafted, Zierer signed with Auburn as a free agent in 2023. During his time at Auburn, he started every game at left tackle for the Tigers in 2022. Rivals ranked Zierer as the No.1 JUCE prospect at his position when he signed with Auburn, showcasing his talent and determination to succeed in the sport.

Unfortunately, Zierer’s time with the Texans was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury during training camp, landing him on injured reserve. However, his journey from being a late starter in football to catching the eye of top college programs and ultimately landing a spot with the Texans is a testament to his determination and talent. His potential is evident, and Texans fans can look forward to seeing what he can bring to the team once he recovers from his injury.
