Alane Suhr, a new addition to our UC Berkeley faculty, is a computer science expert with a passion for language interaction systems. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Ohio State University (2016) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University (2022). Her research interests lie in building systems that interact and learn language through collaboration with human users in various contexts.

Alane Suhr is thrilled to join the Computer Science department at UC Berkeley and contribute to the innovative research and teaching initiatives at the university. With her expertise in computer science and her focus on developing systems that leverage language in collaborative environments, she is a valuable asset to our faculty.
