As the Premier League match between Bournemouth and Manchester United approaches, it’s important to know some key statistics. Bournemouth will be looking to achieve their first league double over Manchester United, as they did in December with a 3-0 victory at Old Trafford. While Manchester United has won four of their six Premier League away games against Bournemouth, they have also suffered two losses in December 2015 (1-2) and November 2019 (0-1).

In recent years, Bournemouth has been performing well at home, winning each of their last three Premier League home games. This success puts them in a position to potentially secure their first four-game winning streak at home in the top-flight. However, despite their recent form, Manchester United remains a formidable opponent. They currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League table but have faced a high number of shots this season, second only to bottom side Sheffield United. Additionally, Manchester United has the third highest expected goals against figure in the league.

Their previous encounter saw Dominic Solanke, Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi score for Bournemouth in their 3-0 victory over Manchester United. Only Joshua King in the 2019-20 season has managed to score home and away for Bournemouth against Manchester United in a single campaign. Interestingly, Bournemouth’s Ryan Christie and Manchester United’s Antony have had the most shots without scoring a goal in the Premier League this season, with 33 and 31 shots respectively.
