The Miami Dolphins had a strong 2023 season with a record of 11-6, but lost in the wild-card round of the playoffs. They have several draft picks in each round, with their highest selection being at No. 21 in the 1st round. However, they need to make significant upgrades to their roster before the draft to maximize the potential of their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and their speedy wide receivers.

On offense, the team needs to prioritize upgrading their offensive line after an injury-plagued season. While they have a strong cornerback duo in Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller, adding youth at that position would be beneficial. Additionally, reinforcements are needed on the defensive line after losing Christian Wilkins to the Raiders.

Some potential first-round fits for the Dolphins include Graham Barton from Duke, an offensive lineman, Amarius Mims from Georgia, an offensive tackle, and Terrion Arnold from Alabama, a cornerback. On Day 2, players like Ja’Tavion Sanders from Texas, Ennis Rakestraw Jr., an edge rusher from Missouri and Zach Frazier from West Virginia could be good fits for them.

In terms of their previous draft performance, the Dolphins only selected four players in the previous year’s draft and received a B grade. Running back De’Von Achane was a standout pick for them. With more draft picks this year, they have an opportunity to make some key additions to their roster while focusing on improving their offensive and defensive lines. Looking ahead to the draft
