The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently sitting in the top spot in the Western Conference with only four regular season games left. There is optimism that star player Karl-Anthony Towns could return from injury before the playoffs. Towns recently participated in his first team scrimmage since injuring his left meniscus in early March and has been working towards a comeback.

After a win against the L.A. Lakers on Sunday, Anthony Edwards expressed confidence that Towns would be back on the court soon. Towns himself shared a message on his Instagram story indicating that he is “locked in” and focused on returning to action. The team has been performing well in Towns’ absence, with an 11-5 record in the games he has missed.

The Timberwolves have three of their final four games at home, with Towns potentially returning for matchups against the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns. Despite missing Towns, the Timberwolves have managed to secure the top spot in the Western Conference and avoid the Play-In series next week. With a healthy Towns back in the lineup, the team is looking to make a deep playoff run and capitalize on their successful regular season.
