Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed concerns that his country may lose the war against Russia if Congress does not approve a military aid package. Ukrainian soldiers are facing challenges as they are forced to ration their ammunition while confronting a strong Russian army. The conflict has seen a major counteroffensive by the Kiev army in summer 2023, but Russia has advanced into eastern Ukraine and targeted its energy infrastructure.
