Nolen Sellwood’s journey began in the Twin Cities suburbs, where he was inspired by the music of Nick Drake, an English folk artist who passed away too soon at the age of 26. He learned to play guitar from his high school art teacher and now showcases his unique style as a student at the University of Minnesota Duluth. On April 5th, he will be performing at Duluth’s Sacred Heart Music Center, giving audiences a taste of his talent and passion for music.
On the other hand, Bridget McCutchen grew up on a family farm near Ashland and was homeschooled. Despite never straying far from home, she made history last fall by becoming the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe on a motorcycle. Her incredible journey is awaiting certification by the Guinness Book of World Records and she shares all the details with host Robin Washington on “Simply Superior”.
