The Los Angeles Lakers managed to secure a hard-fought double-overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, with Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves playing crucial roles. Without the help of LeBron James, the team overcame a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win 128-124.

Davis made a game-saving block on Damian Lillard to force the first overtime and ultimately sealed the victory in the second overtime. He had a standout performance with 34 points, 23 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and two assists in a career-high 52 minutes of play. Reaves recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Lakers’ trio of Davis, Reaves, and Russell were instrumental in mounting a comeback in the fourth quarter where the Bucks had a commanding lead. Despite missed opportunities by both teams including Giannis Antetokounmpo’s struggles at the free throw line, the Lakers were able to capitalize in overtime.
