The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association kicked off its 38th season at Three Sticks Golf Club in Marion with a youth tournament sponsored by Pam Hartman in memory of Charles Emans. Participants from various age groups showcased their skills on the course, with Logan Keller from Galion emerging victorious in the 16-to-18 age division.

In this division, Keller secured the top spot with a score of 2-over-par 62, thanks to his strong performance that included 11 pars and three birdies. Dawson Hall finished second with a score of 64, while Nathan McMullen came in third with 66. Other participants in the top rankings included Dylan Moore, Matthew Ralph, and Jack Seckel.

Meanwhile, Maura Murphy from Pleasant took the lead in the 13-to-18 girls division with a score of 75, while Maddie Murphy came in second at 77. Olivia Ross, Anna Songer, and Madelyn Taylor also put up strong performances in this division.

In the 13-to-15 age group, Jace Haunhorst and Clay Rogers tied for the top spot, but Haunhorst ultimately clinched the victory after a playoff. Other top performers in this division included Sam Snyder, Liam Rhea, Bryant Berry, and Drew Thomas. Finally, Kolton Crider emerged as the winner in the 9-hole 12-and-under class with a score of 40. This division also saw strong performances from Adam Keller
