Junior Elena Krause, who led Pontiac to their first Softball State Title in program history, has been named the 25 Sports Athlete of the Week. Krause’s outstanding pitching performances in the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four, and the State Title game were all shutouts. With a bright future ahead at Stanford for her college career, Krause remains a key player for Pontiac’s chances to repeat as 3A State Champs next year.
