Daniel Oyegoke, who has represented England up to the under-20 level, has recently made the move from Brentford to Scottish Premiership club Hearts. The 21-year-old right-back revealed that former Hearts players Neil MacFarlane, Steven Pressley, and Jamie Walker played a key role in persuading him to join the club.

MacFarlane and Pressley are part of the coaching team at Brentford, while Walker was Oyegoke’s team-mate last season at Bradford City. Having worked closely with the trio over the past three years, Oyegoke was convinced by their positive experiences at Hearts. Speaking to Hearts TV, he expressed excitement about joining such a prestigious club with a strong fanbase. The young player described the decision to move as “very easy” and expressed his eagerness to play in front of the passionate Tynecastle crowd under floodlights.
