This past weekend, the Action Academy hosted its annual children’s business fair at Highpoint Classical Academy in Larksville. Thirty young entrepreneurs showcased their products and services, with the goal of developing real-life skills through creating their own businesses. Each participating child came up with a product or service to sell, developed a brand, and implemented a marketing strategy to attract customers during the one-day marketplace. From sportswear to baked goods, the small businesses represented each child’s passion and interests.

One young entrepreneur, Emma Rasys, CEO of Spill the Dough, shared her love for baking and her aspirations for a career in the field. All proceeds raised at the fair will directly benefit each child’s business, allowing them to further develop their entrepreneurial skills. The fair is an excellent opportunity for kids to learn about business management, marketing, and financial planning while having fun.
