Instead, Morgan used the chair to hit Lynch with a DDT, followed by oblivion to secure the pin for victory.
Following Rhea Ripley’s injury and vacating of the title, Lynch won a 14-woman battle royal to become the champion for the fifth time. This unexpected win has extended the feud between Lynch and Morgan until Ripley returns to action.
