The Women Veteran Health Day celebration at the Chattanooga VA Clinic on June 26th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET is set to recognize the contributions of women in the military while providing important health services to female veterans.
One of the key highlights of this event is the walk-in mammography services available on-site, which give veteran patients immediate access to crucial breast cancer screenings without any need for prior appointments. Additionally, scheduled pap smear services will also be offered to further support women’s health.
Apart from these services, attendees will have access to a range of other healthcare services including blood pressure screenings, kidney health screenings, diabetes education, Hemoglobin A1C testing, immunizations, mammography screenings and pap smears.
To honor and celebrate the achievements of women veterans, Retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Mildred Jordan will be in attendance to share her experiences and insights on advancing through the military ranks. She will speak from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. ET during this special event at the Chattanooga VA Clinic located at 6401 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga TN 37421
