Dyaisha Fair had an anticipated debut in the WNBA for the Las Vegas Aces, playing for about four minutes in their recent win over the Fever. However, just one day after her debut, Fair was waived from the team. She struggled in her debut game, only recording two assists and missed all two shot attempts.

Despite making the initial roster for the Aces, she had not seen any action until Saturday’s game. Fair was drafted by the Aces in the second round after showcasing her skills at Syracuse University where she had an impressive career. She was the third all-time leading scorer in the NCAA with 3,403 career points, following Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Plum.

The Aces have had a successful start to the season, winning three out of four games so far. The team is looking to secure a third consecutive WNBA title this season, a feat that hasn’t been achieved in the league since the Houston Comets won four consecutive titles from 1997-2000. Despite Fair’s departure, the team remains focused on their goal for the season.
