Dyaisha Fair, who was selected by the Las Vegas Aces in the second round of the WNBA Draft last month, made her debut on Saturday night. She played about four minutes late in the Aces’ win over the Fever. However, her time with the team came to an end just one day after her debut as she was waived by the team. Fair recorded two assists and shot 0-of-2 from the field in those four minutes during her debut game.

Fair had an impressive college career at Syracuse, where she averaged 22.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game last season. She moved up to No. 3 on the NCAA’s all-time scoring list with 3,403 career points, only behind Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Plum in terms of points scored at the college level. Fair also played in a preseason game against Puerto Rico earlier this month, playing about 10 minutes in Las Vegas’ 52-point blowout win.

Despite losing Fair, the Aces are off to a strong start this season with a 3-1 record. Their only loss came in a 10-point defeat against the Phoenix Mercury. The Aces are aiming to win a third straight WNBA title this season, a feat that has not been achieved since the Houston Comets won four consecutive titles from 1997-2000.
