The Wisconsin Badgers have shifted their focus to the class of 2026 by offering tight end Jack Janda from Michigan on Monday. Janda joins a group of talented offensive players who have recently received offers from Wisconsin, including running back Jaeden Hill, wide receivers Madden Williams, Kennan and Jarod Pula, and athletes Jakob Weatherspoon, Sharroid Whitehead, and Brandon Brown Jr.

Janda is a three-star recruit who stands at 6 feet 6 inches and weighs 230 pounds. He plays for Catholic Central High School in Michigan and is ranked as the No. 24 tight end, No. 9 recruit from Michigan, and No. 426 overall recruit for the class of 2026 by 247Sports. Like many of his peers, Janda has received offers from several top programs in the nation, including Miami (Florida), Michigan, Oregon, Purdue, Illinois, Cincinnati, and Kentucky.

According to predictions by insiders at 247Sports and On3, Janda is heavily favoring the Wolverines to secure his commitment. However, he has yet to make a decision about which school he will attend. Wisconsin has now offered 13 tight ends for the class of 2026 as they continue to build their recruiting class. Rivals currently ranks Luke Fickell’s class of 2025 at No. 6 in the nation with 19 players committed.
