Despite five Big Ten programs ranking above the Badgers, including Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Michigan, and Rutgers, Luke Fickell’s leadership has helped the team secure 21 verbal commitments so far.

The Badgers are looking to build on their success from last season and take the next step towards becoming a college football playoff contender. In their class of 2024, Wisconsin added 22 players, with ten already on campus as early enrollees such as quarterback Mabrey Mettauer. This class was ranked as the 23rd best in the country by 247Sports. Their current class of 2025 is ranked at No. 14 by the same service, showing the team’s continued success in recruiting top talent.
