In today’s State of Play, Sony unveiled the open-world RPG Where Winds Meet, which is set to release on both PC and PS5. The game has been gaining attention for its unique representation of Chinese martial arts, including abilities such as Qinggong and the power of Chi.

Recently, a PlayStation Blog post provided more details about the game’s martial arts system. Players can learn skills by observing and mimicking animal behavior, providing unique combat strategies. The game takes place during the Ten Kingdoms Era and follows a swordsman who will impact the outcome of the battle based on their choices.

Developer Everstone Studios initially announced Where Winds Meet at Gamescom Opening Night Live in 2022. The game has been described as blending elements of games like Zelda and The Witcher, with a vast array of systems, choices, and possibilities. Early previews have praised the game’s immersive experience for players.
