WhatsApp is currently working on a new AI-powered feature that will allow users to create personalized images of themselves using a set of their own photos. The feature, called “AI-generated images for you,” is under development and will be available in a future update.

To use the feature, users can select a set of their photos to be analyzed by Meta AI in order to generate new images based on those photos. Users will need to take “setup photos” of themselves for the AI to analyze and generate new images based on those photos.

The beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.24.14.13 includes this feature, which is optional and can be disabled in the app’s settings. Users can simply type “Imagine me” in the Meta AI assistant’s conversation to start generating personalized AI images based on their photos and text descriptions.

Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, is also working on various generative AI tools and features for its platforms, such as the chatbot-like assistant Meta AI, which is powered by the Llama 3 language model. This new AI feature on WhatsApp aims to give users a more personalized and interactive experience on the platform.
