After much consideration, veteran guard Russell Westbrook has decided to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers for another season by picking up his $4 million player option, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Westbrook, a nine-time All-Star, has been a key player for the Clippers since joining the team in February 2023 and signed a two-year, $7.8 million deal with the team last summer.

Despite being 35 years old, Westbrook has continued to be a solid contributor for the team, playing in 68 games last season and averaging 11.1 points, 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.1 steals.
