A wellness expo will be held in Monticello to promote overall health and wellness in the community. The event, which is open to the public and free to attend, will feature over 30 vendors offering a variety of wellness resources and information. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton of the Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee emphasizes the importance of events like these in raising awareness about colo-rectal health and encouraging proactive health practices.

In addition to the wellness vendors, Second Harvest of the Big Bend will be on-site at the expo, offering a free produce giveaway and cooking demonstrations. The event will take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. The expo aims to provide valuable resources and information to help individuals improve their health and well-being.
