As the week comes to a close, the weather is expected to improve significantly. On Wednesday, partly sunny skies and warm humid conditions will be seen, with a slight chance of an afternoon shower. Highs are expected to reach the mid 80s with southwest to west winds at 10 to 15 mph.

On Thursday, improvement is expected as brighter skies return. While a few showers may still be possible, especially over the interior, the forecast predicts unlimited sunshine and seasonable temperatures for Friday. This will make for a great end to the work week.

As we head into the weekend, clouds will start to increase on Saturday with rain holding off until the afternoon and evening hours. Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Sunday. Chief Meteorologist Charlie Lopresti advises us to track storms using the Interactive Radar.
