The Golden State Warriors are considering making changes to their roster during the offseason, although the extent of these changes is still unknown. One possibility being discussed is adding another elite veteran star to the team in order to boost their chances of winning a championship.

According to Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report, one potential move could involve reuniting with Kevin Durant. The proposed trade would involve sending Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Kevon Looney, and a 2025 first-round pick to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Durant. This move would give the Suns immediate help with Wiggins’ three-and-D skills, a center in Looney, a potential star in Kuminga, and draft equity.

While acquiring Durant may be a difficult task for the Warriors due to the Suns’ likely reluctance to trade their star player, the possibility of him returning to Golden State is enticing. A championship could be within reach if Durant were to come back to the Bay Area.

However, there are concerns about Durant’s past issues with Draymond Green that must be addressed before any potential trade can occur. If these issues can be resolved or if they decide not to pursue this route then it will have an impact on the team’s future decisions.
