Vua Nem chain, a mattress retail company founded in 2007, has turned a profit of 4 billion VND in the first four months of the year. This marks a significant milestone for the company, as it surpassed expectations and equaled the profit from the entire year of 2021. After two years of losses, this positive development comes as a relief to shareholders and stakeholders alike.

The company’s success is attributed to several factors, including a 155% rise in EBITDA at the store level and optimizations in operating costs. These improvements have resulted in an impressive Gross profit margin growth of about 12%. Additionally, Vua Nem successfully paid off a batch of bonds worth 150 billion VND, saving 4.5 billion VND in interest payments for this year.

Vua Nem’s ecosystem includes a parent company, Vua Nem Investment Joint Stock Company, which oversees subsidiaries managing investments and trading various textile products. The company’s commitment to providing high-quality mattresses at reasonable prices has helped it establish itself as a leading mattress retail chain with 128 stores nationwide.

CEO Nguyen Thanh Huyen emphasized the company’s commitment to providing products with good materials and eliminating intermediaries to offer consumers reasonable prices. The company is currently focusing on repositioning its image to appeal to customers who value quality and affordability above all else.

Looking ahead, Vua Nem aims to grow revenue by 13% compared to 2023. With its strong financial performance and focus on customer satisfaction, it seems that this goal is well within reach.
