Vitracoat Inc., a leading powder supplier, recently announced two promotions within the company. Mileidys Bello has been promoted to vice president of technology, while Steve Houston has been appointed as president, overseeing operations in the U.S. and Canada.

Bello, who has been with Vitracoat for four years, has been instrumental in managing the powder coating portfolio and driving innovation at the company. She also led the establishment of an Innovation Research team and contributed to technological advancements within the company. In her new role, Bello will continue to focus on innovation and excellence at Vitracoat.

With over 30 years of experience in the powder coating industry, Bello has a strong background in chemistry. She previously worked in various roles at Herberts O’Brien, DuPont Powder Coatings, and Axalta Coating Systems. Bello holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and is also certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Houston joined Vitracoat in 2018 and has held several leadership positions within the company since then. Most recently serving as vice president and business director, he led the company to achieve high market growth. Houston played a key role in establishing the Innovation Research Center in Houston, Texas, and overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art production facility. In his new role as president, he will continue to drive success and innovation at Vitracoat.
