A digital producer at kcalnews.com, Matthew Rodriguez, reported that police responded to a call at a Santa Ana business park and found two dead bodies inside a building. The call was made at 4:25 p.m. at the 1200 block of E. Chestnut Avenue, prompting the Santa Ana Police Department to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman murdered, while another man was rushed to the hospital. Investigators suspect that the victims may have been stabbed, as a spear-like object was found outside of the building where the bodies were discovered. The police believe that the killings are not gang-related. At this time, it is unclear if anyone has been taken into custody or if the authorities are searching for suspects.
