The Vikings started Sunday night’s game with a turnover, but were able to come back and take a 10-9 lead over Denver into halftime. On the opening drive, Dobbs fumbled while running on third-and-1, allowing Denver to take an early lead. However, the Vikings have been making an effort to run the ball, with Alexander Mattison taking 10 carries for 50 yards and Ty Chandler having 30 yards on six carries.
Dobbs has also been performing well, going 11-of-13 for 126 yards with a touchdown. Despite some snap problems with Dobbs and center Garrett Bradbury, the quarterback was able to recover from both to prevent turnovers. The Broncos, on the other hand, haven’t been very successful in the first half. They are 0-of-5 on third down, have five first downs, and have just 16 rushing yards. Russell Wilson is currently 13-of-17 for 132 yards and Courtland Sutton leads with two catches for 38 yards.
The second half will begin with Denver receiving the kickoff.
