In a recent Instagram Story, Victoria Monét announced that she will be canceling her performances at Governors Ball, Blavity, and Roots Picnic next month due to ongoing health issues. She apologized for the inconvenience caused to her fans and promised to return to the stage soon. Despite the cancellations, Monét remains optimistic about her future performances and is grateful for the support of her loyal fans during this time.

Monét had been set to perform at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 1, Governors Ball in Queens on June 8-10, and Blavity House Party Fest in Nashville on June 15. However, after experiencing some health issues, she has decided to take a break from performing and focus on getting better.

While Monét did not specify what exactly is causing her health issues, last month she shared on Instagram that she has been dealing with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). She mentioned noticing weight gain in various areas of her body and humorously referred to having “two moons on the stage” due to the effects of PCOS on her body shape.

Despite the cancellations, Monét’s fans have shown their support by commenting positively on her Instagram posts and sending well wishes for a speedy recovery. They are looking forward to seeing her back on stage soon.

In fact, Monét has already announced that she will resume her festival tour at the end of July. She will start off at Broccoli City Festival on July 27 and then continue with performances at Lollapalooza in August alongside other festivals like Outside Lands and London’s All Points East Festival.
