Disney World recently made history by earning the first and only Michelin star for a restaurant owned and operated by a US theme park. The famed restaurant, Victoria & Albert’s inside the Grand Floridian Resort, offers prix fixe tasting menus starting at $295 a person with optional drink add-ons. I visited the restaurant this month after hearing rave reviews from friends and influencers online.

I’ve been visiting Disney World for 20 years but never stepped foot inside the Grand Floridian restaurant until this month. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. As I walked into the grand lobby of the resort, I was immediately struck by the opulence of my surroundings. The intricate details of the decor, combined with the impeccable service, set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The restaurant itself is located on the second floor of the resort and features stunning views of Cinderella’s Castle. As I sat down at my table, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement as I looked out over the beautifully lit castle grounds.

The menu at Victoria & Albert’s is carefully curated and offers a variety of dishes that are sure to impress even the most discerning palate. From fresh seafood to succulent steaks, there is something for everyone on this exquisite menu. I opted for the prix fixe tasting menu, which featured an array of dishes that were both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, making it clear that every detail had been carefully considered by Chef Scott Hazejakis and his team.

As I savored each bite, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I was partaking in one of Disney World’s finest culinary experiences. The service was impeccable and attentive without being intrusive, striking just the right balance between being available when needed and allowing me to enjoy my meal in peace
