UTA has appointed Eric Iverson, an experienced technology and media executive, as its Chief Technology Officer. Iverson was previously with Amazon MGM Studios, where he led product and artificial intelligence initiatives. He also held senior positions at CAA and Sony Pictures Entertainment before joining UTA.

In his new role at UTA, Iverson will oversee the agency’s global IT strategy. This comes at a crucial moment in the industry as technological advancements continue to shape how companies operate. Iverson is excited to be part of UTA’s history of embracing technology-driven opportunities across various cultural landscapes. He praised UTA for being one of the first major agencies to establish practices in digital media, podcasting, and other forward-thinking areas.

During his tenure at Amazon MGM Studios, Iverson played a key role in developing Amazon’s Next Generation Studio project. This involved integrating cloud-based infrastructure, proprietary product development, and AI technologies into the studio’s operations. Before joining UTA, he held several senior technology roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment and served as CTO and CIO at CAA from 2016 to 2020.

UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer believes that Iverson’s visionary leadership in the entertainment and technology spheres will drive innovation and collaboration within the company. Zimmer emphasizes the importance of understanding how emerging technologies like AI can support business growth and enable diverse global collaboration.
