President Joe Biden announced that Iran had launched an air attack against military facilities in Israel, using drones and missiles. He stated that the US helped take down “nearly all” of the incoming drones and missiles. The president reaffirmed his “ironclad” support to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, condemning the attacks in the strongest terms.

Furthermore, Biden emphasized that he had spoken to Netanyahu to reinforce America’s commitment to Israel’s security. He praised Israel for its ability to defend against unprecedented attacks and send a clear message to its enemies that their security cannot be threatened.

Finally, Biden clarified that no US forces or facilities had come under attack from Iran during this incident.
