The 2024 NFL season is almost here and football fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the full regular-season schedule. On Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET, the NFL will announce its schedule on NFL Network and ESPN2, hosted by Rich Eisen and Colleen Wolfe, with appearances by Maurice Jones-Drew, Michael Robinson, and Cynthia Frelund.

Some key dates to look out for in the upcoming season include OTAs and mandatory minicamps in late May to early June, the franchise tag deadline on July 17, training camps opening in mid-to-late July, the preseason in August, the trade deadline on November 5, and Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans.

The spotlight of the 2024 NFL season will be on the Kansas City Chiefs as they aim to make history by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The season will kick off on Thursday night, September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium, where the reigning Super Bowl champions will face the Baltimore Ravens led by Lamar Jackson.

The opening matchup will be a rematch of last season’s AFC championship game, with the Chiefs coming out victorious on their way to winning their second straight Super Bowl title. The showdown between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes promises to be an exciting start to the new NFL season.
