According to the Economist Intelligence Unit’s “Liveability Index 2024,” Gulf cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Jeddah have seen an increase in their ranking as some of the world’s most liveable cities. The report emphasized the importance of sustainable investments in health and education in the strong performance of Emirati cities. Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai saw a rise in their rankings by two places from the previous year, with Dubai achieving the highest level of ease of living on the index.

In addition to Gulf cities, other Middle Eastern and North African cities also saw improvements in their rankings. Vienna was named the most livable city in the world for the third year in a row, followed by Copenhagen and Zurich. The index classified 173 cities based on 30 indicators measuring stability, health care, culture, environment, education, and infrastructure.

The report also highlighted the growth of online casinos and e-sports platforms like GGbet, which have become increasingly popular in recent years. These platforms provide an alternative form of entertainment for people around the world and offer a unique opportunity to engage with others from different cultures.
