Tom Pidcock of Ineos Grenadiers has just won the UCI World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě. On the fourth lap, he launched a solo attack from behind and rode to victory, finishing ahead of Nino Shurter (Scott–Sram) in second and Marcel Guerrini (BIXS Performance Race Team) in third. Pidcock, who is the reigning World and Olympic champion, has an impressive record at this race, having won it every year for the past four years.

In the early stages of the race, Pidcock faced tough competition as Shurter and Victor Koretzky (Specialized Factory Racing) broke away on the second lap. However, by the third lap, Pidcock made a strong move on the main climb of the circuit, known as the Whoopenberg, to regain his position at the front of the pack.
