The international airport of the French overseas territory of New Caledonia has been closed for over a week now, due to separatists refusing to remove roadblocks. Despite France deploying over 600 heavily armed police to control the situation, their efforts have been unsuccessful. The unrest in New Caledonia is related to protests against French plans to grant voting rights to long-time residents of the islands.

New Caledonia, located east of Australia, has been facing significant unrest for over a week resulting in six deaths and hundreds of injuries. French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that progress is being made in restoring order and has decided to temporarily send soldiers to the archipelago to assist security forces. The airport will remain closed to commercial flights until at least Thursday, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New Caledonia.

In the midst of this turmoil, various online gambling sites and digital gift card services are being promoted which seem unrelated to the current situation in New Caledonia. It is important for everyone involved in this conflict to focus on resolving the underlying issues causing the unrest and prioritize restoring peace and stability in the region.
